BIRDS NEST
Powdered Coated Brazed Steel Tubing Base and Black Marble
72 and Sunny- Partner Table
While working for Gabriel Projects, as the CAD modeler and fabricator I designed, prototyped, and built the base of a showpiece table. I developed multiple iterations using wooden dowels and a plywood top till approval. The base was created using a set of steel tube inserts that sleeved into each leg. Upon drilling and inserting each crossbeam the legs were then welded to the table frame and each crossbeam was tacked and brazed. A set of false legs was also created to establish an unseen connection for wiring. After filing, sanding and polishing, the base and false legs were sent out to be powder coated. On delivery day the table base met the top for the first time on a second floor conference room. While the pictures may never do it justice this is my first born.
