TWISTED TABLE

Part of a 12-week intensive, this table was prototyped, designed, built and finished in 2-week session.  While the wood doesn't necessarily do the piece justice, the movement created by such a stagnant piece was my goal.  By iterating on a simple concept, rotating a square 15-20 degrees and increasing the size as they are stacked; the legs of the table built themselves.  Determining the table top was simply a lot of cardboard and trial and error, and the right shape presented itself.
